(счет; фонд выравнивания валютного курса) Счет, учрежденный в 1932 г., которым от имени правительства управляет Банк Англии. Он учитывает официальные золото-валютные резервы Великобритании (включая Специальные права заимствования (Special Drawing Rights)) и используется при покупке иностранной валюты для поддержки курса фунта стерлингов. Хотя в Великобритании в 1979 г. был полностью отменен всякий валютный контроль (exchange control).
